My coworker Joy is an Avon lady, which means that every month, I get to browse through a brochure and pick out a new makeup product to try!
The great thing about Avon is that the products are quite affordable, which means that if I don’t like something – which is sometimes the case when the swatch in print is different than in person – it’s not a big deal.
I picked up three of these babies, and while they weren’t what I expected, I’m still quite happy!Read More »
I’m not a concealer kinda girl. I was always too lazy to take that extra step, and I never thought I needed it. Sure, I’ve tried a few before, but none of them were really something to write home about.
I was convinced to give this concealing thing another go since I watched yet another “makeup for people with glasses” video where the vlogger kept saying, “Glasses cast shadows on your face, which emphasizes dark circles!” With me working the night shift, I’m no stranger to dark circles, so I finally realized the importance of a good concealer.
I was going to pick up the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer but I was too lazy to go to Rustan’s Makati; hence, I chose this one from Laura Mercier.
Can I just say how happy I am to have a KathleenLights collab in my arsenal, at last?! I love Kathleen and I think her videos are so much fun. She suffers from anxiety as well, so I emphasized with her there. All in all, I’m glad to have a product that supports her.
My first impressions of this product were totally off, you guys. Remember how I said there isn’t a discernible smell? Well, I took a good hard whiff as I was spraying it onto my face, and my stepdad confirmed that it smelled like hairspray. Now, I’m not a huge stickler for fragrance, and I don’t much care, but it’d be a better experience to have a nice scent to it, ya know? Or at least for it not to smell so chemical-y.
