make-up is my war paint

REVIEW: Essence Blush Up! in Heat Wave

Until recently, I never fully appreciated how much important a blush is to bring color to my face. Luckily, I impulse-shopped and picked this up.

Packaging

Simple as heck. Comes in a slim, lightweight, transparent plastic case.

Formula

What else is there to say? It’s a powder blush. Quite a bit of fallout when you swirl your brush around, but not too much once applied.

Pigmentation is fairly good; when applied with a heavy hand, you’d look like you were slapped in the face.

The color gradient is orange and pink, which when combined turns into a lovely coral.

Performance

It’s not very long-lasting, with wear time at 3-4 hours. But for this price, it’s good! Retouching is not a problem as it’s not prone to caking.

Verdict

A cheap way to bring life to my cheeks!

Price: Php 329
